Oral Health Florida

In May of 2011 DentaQuest funded the transition of Oral Health Florida (OHF) from the Florida Department of Health to the Florida Public Health Institute (FPHI). This transition is one that will expand the state coalition and build a broader group of partners that share one common mission, to improve the oral health of all Florida residents.
As of June 2011 OHF adopted Operating Principles and appointed a Leadership Council that will continue the work initiated by the State Oral Health Improvement Plan (SOHIP). Presently Oral Health Florida is working on updating the SOHIP that will continue to develop an ever improving oral health system that is coordinated between the public and private sectors and includes all stakeholders.
